Acer palmatum ‘Bloodgood’ makes a beautiful small tree, bearing beautiful lobed leaves, which are deep purple in summer, turning scarlet in autumn. The underside is usually a shiny, dark green. Light transmitted through the leaves on a bright day gives a beautiful red effect. A must have for those who appreciate rare maples.

Please Note: This is a deciduous tree which means it will loose its leaves in Winter.
