Native to Taiwan and Japan the Hinoki Cypress is a beautiful evergreen with flat fanning fronds, especily in Spring they look very attractive. The bark on the other hand is another attractive aspect of this tree which has reddish brown and peels in strips as it matures. Once mature it will produce globular cones containing small winged seeds.
