Also known as Lily of the Valley this is a charming and hardy evergreen plant. Native to Eastern China, Taiwan, and Japan where it grows in mountain thickets upto 2-3m tall.
This evergreen bonsai will suit a position sheltered from wind and frost outdoors in full sun to part shade. Excellent choice for display indoors for few days when most plants are bare. It flowers from late Winter to early Spring. The attractive flowers are small, delicate, and white. Unlike the pink variety the flowers on this one stand erect rather than hanging down in clusters. The cut flowers are popular in wedding bouquets. Long lasting cut flowers make an excellent arrangement indoors.
