"Shishigashira" Japanese Maple Bonsai with handmade pot

Acer palmatum 'Shishi-gashira' is a beautiful bushy Japanese maple with an upright habit. Heavily curled green leaves give an interesting texture to this compact grower. Like other Japanese maples, Acer palmatum 'Shishi-gashira' thrives in partial shade, and is less likely to sunburn than other varieties. Foliage becomes purple-red with orange-red patterns in Autumn, and most intense colours in full sun.
