Trident Maple Bonsai #008

Trident Maples are one of the most popular decidous trees cultivated as bonsai. Anyone can take care of these hardy plants.
 
This bonsai has a nice trunk movement which will only look nicer as the tree gets older. You can be as creative as you want to be with these trees since they handle regular pruning, and defoliating very well. 
 
These trees can be distinguished by their dark green leaves that turn red and fluorescent orange in Autumn. The Trident Maple has three-lobed leaves as opposed to the five-lobed leaves of the similar tree, Japanese Maple. A truly beautiful and hardy plant suitable for any plant lover.
